Hello everyone - I want to gather some information about doing a masters degree from a Canadian University, with my spouse coming along via dependant visa. Also, hoping to eventually get residency as well. Please suggest if you or your friends have followed a similar path. Somethings I already know about this process: 1. 2 years studies will get me a 2 year work permit 2. In 2023 I can work full-time as well as a student 3. Applying for express entry - education from canada and job experience will contribute to my profile What I want to know: 1. Will my husband come with me right away? I have been hearing cases where spouses were allowed to enter 5 to 6 months later. 2. Can my husband work full-time? 3. Chances of getting a spouse visa with mine? 4. Tuition fees refund policy if spouse doesnt get his visa with me. Any help will be greatly appreciated

I am seeing mixed responses on the other posts on this group. Many people, friends and consultants are telling me that the Canadian immi lawyer rejects the spouse visa on the basis of two things:
Tejraj Shah is there any possibility that your study visa is accepted and your spouse work permit is rejected under SDS stream ? Because as per my knowledge both are applied together in SDS
Hey, but why do they decline spouse visas? Ive heard it from so many people lately that its difficult getting into Canada as a student with your spouse.
Rida Nadeem as i think it is preferred to apply for you only without spouse, then after you arrived to canada , your spouse can apply for OWP .
