Hello everyone. I am an International student who has completed one year of post graduate studies from within Canada. I am currently in the middle of another one year course and have the study permit extension in hand. I am planning to go back home exactly one month from now. i have booked the tickets and they were very expensive. Recently, I came to know that in order to return back to the country, the study permit cannot be used as a travel document and I would require to extend my study visa. Can people who are in the same boat share their experiences please? Will it be possible to get the visa extension stamped on my passport before the flight? Your help and asssistance will be highly appreciated. I am very worried about the situation and would like some cclarity regarding the timeline of the process. Thank you.
