Hello everyone I am an international student at Trent University completing my 1 year course in HRM. My background:- I’m a teacher with 5 years of experience My age is 29, next year I’ll be loosing point on the basis of my age . My question is :- is there anyone who’s has got the PR here with 1 year of study ? I want to take suggestions from the people who got the PR after 1 year of study in canada. Did you guys bought an LMIA or keep extended their work permit or you have taken another course just to get 5 years of security in Canada irrespective of loosing your points on the basis of your age 2. When I’ll be in future on implied status on work permit , does the work experience count in PR, or it will be counted when I will get my work permit ? I took a one-year program (HRM as well), in Winnipeg; got a one-year PGWP afterwards and submitted my PR application a year before its expiry. No LMIA or anything.
