Hello all, I have received a letter from IRCC asking to give proof of intent to move to a federal province upon getting PR under FSW. I am presently working in Quebec on a closed work permit. What should I write / provide as proof? Kindly help.

Family ties are not a reason for intent to move. You can search a house in Ontario's region near Montreal & sign the lease. That will be the best option. If you just write a letter to move, the PR officer might reject your application & ask you to move first & then apply.

Daria Pakhomova. thank you for your response , I really appreciate it. But I have none of the information you have mentioned. Nevertheless, some employers have invited me to apply for jobs and I have applied for one of the them lately. Will it be enough as proof?

Singh Deepraj I’m not so sure. As moving out of Quebec is a requirement for an application to IRCC, were you not ready with some solid proof? That’s essential to provide as without it, it often gets rejected.

Mahajan Ishant thank you for the information. I appreciate. What if my current employer issue a letter stating that I will be transferred to a branch found in a federal province. Will it help?

Daria Pakhomova I had no idea about it. My sister is a PR holder living in Ontario. Can I mention it as family ties living in a federal province?

A job offer from a different province, a signed lease, a documented agreement with your company etc. Some solid proof.
