Hello All, Bear with me for a lengthy post and the following question My situation: Valid Study permit till : 30th Sep, 2023 Course ends on : 15th Apr, 2023 I have taken up a full time position ( legally on SIN ) after the effective change on student working hours from Nov 15th, 2022 and have all intentions to continue as a full time employee with the same employer after my course ends as well. From what I heard and read, one cannot work ( legally on SIN ) after the course ends and before one applies for PGWP. So technically there is this gap where one cannot work on a SP and my college will take at least 2 weeks for providing transcripts/conformation letter for me to apply for PGWP. Hence, I cannot apply on the last day of the course or immediately thereafter. So my question is what can be done in the above case to continue employment legally so as to not have any problems for PGWP appr

The gap between course end and your PGWP application: keeping employment legal
G Maneesh no. As you were not paid during that time…….
People ask the employer to hold the paycheque for that duration or take a leave of absence. There’s no rigid way all depends upon the agreement with the employer
I believe you can work until you get the final grades that means course completion letter. Once you receive that, soon you can apply for pgwp
