I was in the same situation before. Make sure you meet the requirements for “valid job offer” as explained in IRCC website. I am in Canada on open work permit which makes my job offer invalid and have to provide pof.
You need to submit proof of fund which is very mandatory. Only if you are on LMIA Work Permit (Valid Job Offer) that’s when you can skip POF
Did you submit bank statement while submitting your PR application? And whats your AOR
