So my question to this group is, will I be eligible to apply full 3 years of PGWP given the fact that my passport expiry April 2026? Or, do I have to apply for passport renewal before applying the PGWP. Any suggestions and guidance appreciated. TIA

You cannot renew your passport before 1 year of Expiry. You have to apply for PGWP first, later when you get your passport renewed you can extend your PGWP. Any how they will mention it on your PGWP to extend
The pgwp validity will be based on your passport. I suggest you get your passport renewed prior to applying for a pgwp unless you want to apply for pgwp twice.
You can apply for short validity of passport due to Pgwp request to passport office.
