Good day everyone! My PR card is expiring in April 2024 and I have been to Canada only once in 2019 for a period of 3 weeks when I received PR. I had some personal and family commitments that did not allow me to move permanently. Now I intend to renew my PR status and move permanently in a year or so. For this reason, I'm planning to travel to Canada again in October this year. But I will have to come back to finish things up at my workplace. I know that we have to complete 730 days requirement to renew PR status and technically I could be denied entry to Canada if that requirement has not been met even though the PR is valid. Knowing that this group and the moderators Nikolett Kalotainé Szundi and Kubeir Kamal helped me immensely in obtaining PR, I would request advice and suggestions from them and the members in taking the right course of action that would allow me to renew my PR card

Renewing a PR card after long absence from Canada — meeting the 730-day residency obligation
The best course of action would be to get a US visa and enter Canada through a land border. Then stay put inside the country for 2 years straight if you want to renew your pr card
This question is very tricky and I don't find a proper answer until now.
