I guess if anyone asked for update with CIC, hope they replied stating we have huge queue for processing and you are in queue. Can anybody help us understand about the timeline and next steps post submission of PR application (with visa & Biometrics fees)

If it was Express Entry PNP application, you should receive AOR by next day and probably your Biometrics Request within a month or so. Also, you need to provide upfront medical examination to IRCC with your application.
