How does applying to a PNP relate to sitting in the Express Entry pool?

When u apply to the province, you actually tell the province that u are interested so they can choose you from express entry stream (of course depending on your points and everything).

For few provinces you need to express your interest, called as EOI (Expression Of Interest) and for some you don’t need to.
