A very unique case! As a child I went to Canada with parents on PR.. We were there for less than 2 years but we left 20 years ago and didn't go back.. I recently found out PR never technically expires! It remains valid unless cancelled by the govt or given up by the person.. Is there anyway to regain my PR status as I was a child and taken back by parents.. I now want to go back again and was trying the EE route.. But now that I know my PR is active what can I do to regain it.. Im reading that I can maybe appeal and present a case as being too young back then I didn't have a say in it.. I've located my family landing papers as well.. Can anyone shed any light on this? Kubeir Kamal any help or guidance would be appreciated..

Childhood PR that was never formally cancelled but left 20 years ago — can you "reactivate" it?
You cannot regain your PR status. As you left 20 years ago and have never stayed in Canada for 2years in the last 5 years you cannot keep ur status. You can reapply for a new PR under any one of the valid streams.
You can also use your professional skills n education background,if you have a strong one as a back up to make your case stronger
Better you hire immigration lawyer, they can handle your case thoroughly.
