An applicant who filed a study permit without upfront medicals asked whether the panel physician forwards results and whether a webform is needed.
- The panel clinic sends your results to IRCC directly. You don't have to do anything - your passport number is embedded in the medical results, which links them to your application.
- A webform is optional, not required. If you want to nudge the linkage, raise one webform and attach the e-Medical Information Sheet the clinic gives you (the sheet with your UMI/IME numbers). No need to attach the vaccination worksheet.
- If you skip the webform entirely, you're still fine - the passport-number linkage does the job; applicants submit UMI/IME numbers only to facilitate matching.
- One member's blunt take: reflexive webforms 'serve no purpose but to increase workload' - use at most one.
