To apply for Ontario's PNP through the Express Entry-aligned stream:
- Get your CRS score into the range Ontario has historically targeted. Reported figures put the range around 453–467, though this shifts between draws — check Ontario's current invitation rounds rather than relying on a fixed number.
- Make sure your profile is active in the Express Entry pool. Ontario draws candidates directly from the federal EE pool, so you must have a live, complete EE profile to be considered.
- Your occupation needs to be in demand. When Ontario runs a PNP draw, they select profiles from the pool whose occupation matches what they're currently targeting — having a high CRS score alone isn't enough if your NOC isn't on their list for that round.
Because CRS cutoffs and in-demand occupations both shift over time, treat any specific number as a snapshot and check Ontario's official PNP updates before assuming you qualify.
