If you have an ITA and are claiming 50 CRS points for a valid job offer, group members clarified what actually needs to go into the "offer of employment" section of your application.
What group members advised:- Confirm you actually have an LMIA (or LMIA-exempt work permit). Without an LMIA letter, an LMIA-based work permit, or an LMIA-exempt work permit, you cannot claim the 50 points for a job offer — a plain offer/employment letter on its own isn't sufficient to claim the points.
- Bundle the supporting documents together in the offer-of-employment section: the offer letter, the initial employment contract (the one the work permit was based on), the LMIA, and the work permit itself.
- On formatting questions like whether an experience letter can be e-signed, members didn't give a definitive answer — when in doubt, check IRCC's current document requirements directly, since signature requirements can change.
Make sure the offer of employment and the general employment/experience sections aren't left blank just because you already uploaded the offer letter elsewhere — both sections typically expect supporting documents.
