For post-ITA document preparation when you're missing salary slips for part of your declared work experience:
- Know that salary statements are not always strictly mandatory if other documents are strong. Community experience suggests some applicants have successfully submitted without salary slips.
- The detail in your HR/experience letter matters more than salary proof. Make sure the letter clearly and specifically lists your roles and responsibilities so an immigration officer can directly match them to the duties of the NOC code you're claiming.
- If you were paid partly or fully in cash and can't produce formal salary statements, be prepared to explain this in a cover note or explanation letter rather than leaving the gap unaddressed.
- Where possible, still try to include some form of income evidence (bank statements, tax filings, etc.) as supporting documentation, even if formal payslips aren't available, since more corroboration generally strengthens your file.
Document requirements can be assessed case-by-case by officers, so when in doubt, include an explanation for any missing document rather than omitting it silently.
