If you claimed job-offer points in your Express Entry profile (based on an LMIA work permit transfer) and your employer is now unwilling to provide the documentation IRCC needs for PR processing, your options are limited.
What the group advised:- You need a fresh letter from your employer confirming the job offer will still be available for at least 1 year after you obtain PR. If you claimed points for a job offer, there isn't a real workaround to this requirement — the letter has to come from the employer.
- Alternative documents (paystubs, transfer letters, reference letters) are not a guaranteed substitute. Whether IRCC accepts something other than the standard employer letter is discretionary and inconsistent case to case — some applicants have reportedly gotten PR without it, but it's not the recommended or reliable path.
The safest route is still pushing your employer for the required letter rather than relying on alternative proofs, since the outcome with substitutes depends heavily on the individual officer's judgment.
